My cat is called Lucy. She was originally owned by a neighbor but didn’t like living with the other two cats in that house so eventually moved in here. The original owner was happy to let her go because she used to cause havoc because of not getting along with the other two cats, this included diving at glass doors to try and scare them away!
Lucy has a nervous, but in the main, friendly personality, although she scratches now and again if she doesn’t get her way! She also gives a ‘friendly’ bite if you pick her up and hold on to her for too long.
Lucy follows the same routine every day, sleeping on the arm of the settee on mornings and on my bed on evenings. She whinges if the bed isn’t made properly with a cover on it for her to lie on, she likes to watch out of the window when in the bedroom.
Also she marches up and down on mats clicking her claws in them, sometimes for about ten minutes. Lucy used to catch the odd small bird when she was younger, eating them as quick as possible before anyone could stop her, but now she is getting on so just chases the birds away instead.
Lucy cat has long hair so needs brushing a lot but hates it and runs away when she gets sight of a brush. Lucy doesn’t allow any of the other cats in the neighborhood to come near the house without chasing them away, widening her body and running at them to make her look a lot bigger than she is, she is a lot smaller than them really!
All in all a very loving cat, if a bit unfriendly at times. She gets treated like a God, just like the Egyptians used to treat their cats!
