cat conjuctivitis Conjuctivitis simply means inflammation of the conjuctiva, the delicate membrane which covers and protects eye. In the cat the main cause is pollen or dust getting into the eyes. The pollen or dust produces an irritation which allows bacteria to start to multiply.
