I have a ginger cat called Wally, who I have had since i was 6. we had two cats at the time, which we both rescued. Wally was an orphan, her mum got hit at the roadside when she was a kitten, and she was abandoned. and my other cat holly was an orphan.
Unfortunately, Holly the marmalade cat was really well for 6 weeks and then became withdrawn and ill, until she was diagnosed with leukemia. it broke my heart. And I became even more attached to Wally. We came up with the name Wally from a TV show called Wallace and Gromit.
Shortening Wallace to Wally, as we were told the cat was a boy. I picked holly, have no idea why. but it seemed to stick. Holly and Wally. Wally is a very docile, fat, cuddly cat. She is aggressive sometimes, but only towards males – and strangers. With me she is fine, and often cuddles up with me.
She also seems to like watching the TV show friends, but I have watched that for years, and she usually sleeps with me on my bed. She doesn’t really do anything unusual, although recently has got into the habit of sitting at the dinner table when we eat dinner and trying to eat with us.
