Cute Pictures of American Burmese Cats
The Burmese type breed in the United States gradually differed from the type that is in demand at shows in Europe. The standard demanded a cat with a well-rounded head and no flat parts anywhere, whether seen in profile or on the front. The muzzle had to be short and well developed, with large, round eyes that should not protrude. In essence the breed should make a “rounded” impression from every aspect and this is what American breeders were aiming for.
