I found my cat Jasper almost two years ago at the pound. I was missing my precious Bobby that died at the age of 16. I knew that another kitten could never take Bobby’s place but even though I had other cats I was missing something in my life.
When I first went into the pound to see the cats and kittens I didn’t see Jasper. He was on the lower cages. He was trying to get my attention. I saw him and when I knelt down in front of the cage he grabbed my fingers with two paws and held on and would not turn me loose.
When I asked to hold him and I picked him up he kissed my cheek and rubbed his head on my shoulder. I told the lady that I definitely wanted him. I brought him home and he acted like this was his house.
He got along with all the other cats and has brought so much joy to mine and my Mother’s lives. He just turned 2 years old last month and we are really happen we added him to our cat family. I just had a cat named Leo who turned 15 in May. I keep cats a long time. I love them dearly.
