I have a three year old cat named Nalla. She has got to be one of the most beautiful cats I have ever seen. She is silver and has long hair. For some reason I have called her “Goose Goose” ever since I got her so she responds to that most.
I have raised her from a kitten and ever since then she has been a talker or meower. She now knows how to open doors from the bottom. This is of course if they aren’t latched completely, but the?? are times where she pretends like she can’t get out because she is being lazy.
I would have to say having a cat that can open a door to let herself out is a major bonus. I only hope that if I get another cat some day I can teach it also to open doors.
The other really great thing is that she has pretty much trained herself to go to the bathroom outside. I have a pet door in my house that she at first really didn’t like using but now she seems to be getting used to it. She will no longer use the cat box that I still leave out for her just in case which is absolutely wonderful!
I recommend any kind of cat classes that could provide this kind of behavior. She is like my best friend and has always been there for me when even family could not.
I only wish that cats would live longer even though they seem to be living up to 20 years in good cases. I hate to think about not having her and love to think about her being able to experience my life with me!
