My cat Tiffany was a stray that showed up at our door one cold fall day. I told my two young boys not to feed her and maybe she would go away. This lasted about a day until we couldn’t ignore her anymore and fed her and she became a part of the family.

But Tiffany had a secret; she was pregnant and soon began to show. When she went into labor it was a Sunday and I was there to encourage her and pet her as she labored. She had two kittens then her labor stopped soon after I began to get ready for church.

We assumed that while we were gone to church she would have the remainder of her liter on her own. We were gone over 12 hours that day because we had been invited to friend’s homes after church, then back to church at night then performed errands after church.

We got home at 11PM and Tiffany had still not had the remainder of her liter. Two hours later she was in labor again and she started nesting herself in my lap. I kept putting her back in the box we had for her but she kept waking me up and insisting on sitting in my lap to have her labor and delivery.

After three times of going through this with her we figured she was determined to have the kittens in my lap so we got towels and I got a flashlight so my husband could sleep while the labor and delivery room was in action.

She proceeded to produce three more kittens. It was a very strange night. We kept one of the kittens, his name was Oreo and he just died a little over a year ago.

His Mommy Tiffany had died two years before him and we miss them both.

  • My Whiskers was getting into all kinds of trouble I was looking to buy a cat for my niece’s birthday, so I looked in the newspaper and answered an ad that was giving kittens away to a good home for free. I called the lady over the phone and arranged to meet her at her home where the kittens were. She told me that
  • Abbey was the first cat I had since I lived at home with my parents Five years ago we brought home a very rambunctious puppy who within 3 days had scared my Abbey (our kitty at the time ) into running away. • I really miss my cat I loved my cat, Leaf so much but unfortunately we had to give him away. We found a good no kill shelter to take him. I gave the lady 50.00 to have him fixed, which was the only way she would accept him. A few days after he was there I called to check on him

  • My cat Cassey I found my cat, Casey, through a housemate. She had been traveling across the country and found Casey, almost starved, walking around in a Kansas City neighborhood. He had likely been abandoned by a family from the area that had moved. My friend named him K.C. and brought him home. She was going to find
