We adopted a beautiful black kitten because as I was reading the classified ads, I read that this young lady took in a stray who was pregnant and she gave birth to 5 solid black kittens. She was afraid they would be destroyed at the pound because of their color.

I already had a one year old chocolate lab so I thought it would be great instead of getting another dog for him to play with, a kitten would be great. After a week of hissing at him they are the best of friends.

Our kitten loves our lab!!! She goes wherever he goes. Since then we got two parakeets and she loves to play with them. There tails are always a little wacky from her trying to get to them in the cage but the birds love her too.

She is so affectionate and social. She loves to be patted too. She falls asleep peacefully if you lightly pat her bottom like a baby. She has so much energy and at first she scratched alot, not on purpose but just by trying to play and now her claws are always tucked in when she plays with us. Its like she knows ;)

We named her CC for Coopers Cat (our Chocolate labs name). She has ruined every pair of headphones we have but I wouldnt trade her for a thing. She is a part of our family.
