My husband’s daughter was foster mommy for a kitten rescue organization, so soon we asked her to pick out a cat for us. I told her that I wanted a cat that was really oriented towards people because my husband has never had a cat before. She picked out “Fuzzy” for us.
We think he’s a Maine Coon cat because of how he looks and his really nice personality. He has that tabby coat and his hair is medium to long. Fuzzy has change our lives for the better. He likes to snuggle when we watch t.v.
He also likes his treats and will jump where ever it looks like we are going to put his treats–he’ll even climb a ladder!
The other night we had friends over and we had a pizza delivered. Fuzzy revealed our uncivilized ways of living when he jumped up on the table–he’s used to getting pizza, too. In fact, one time he started to take a slice of pizza from my husband’s hand.
Fuzzy likes music. We play music every day and we have a chair for him to sit in while we play. I was surprised at how tolerant he is of the noise we make!
Fuzzy has the quietest meow I have ever heard in a cat. He quite often gets his way because his little meow sounds so pitiful.
Because he has a heavy coat, Fuzzy likes winter really well. He’s not so enthusiastic about the hot weather of summer and like any proper cat, he hates rain. Unfortunately, Fuzzy has learned to catch birds. He just wants to play with them and doesn’t understand that he is hurting them. One time he brought a live bird into the house!
In short, Fuzzy is a wonderful cat and we feel blessed to have him.
